International GCSE Mathematics · Higher Tier

Learn the patterns the exam keeps using.

Five revision books built from a study of twenty real Higher Tier papers, so every topic you practise is shaped like the questions you will actually meet on exam day.

Exam questions follow patterns, and these books teach you to see them.

Before I wrote a single page, I went through twenty Higher Tier papers question by question, and I counted which topics come up, how often they come up, and how many marks they carry. Every example and every practice question in these books is written fresh, but each one is built on a pattern that examiners keep using again and again, so the real questions start to feel familiar.

How every topic works.

  1. Explain it. We start with the big idea in plain words, so that you understand why the method works and not just what to write down.
  2. Worked examples. Each skill comes with an exam-style question solved line by line, with the marks shown, so you can see exactly where marks are won.
  3. Classwork twins. After every example there are two "twin" questions with the same steps and new numbers, so the pattern sticks in your memory.
  4. Exam practice and answers. Each topic ends with a mixed set at full exam difficulty, and every answer is worked out in full at the back of the book.

You will also find an "Exam Radar" box on every topic, which tells you how often it appeared across the twenty papers, so you always know where your revision time matters most.

Questions people ask.

Which exam are these books for?

They are written for the International GCSE Mathematics A specification at Higher Tier (the 4MA1 papers), and the topic order and Exam Radar figures come from my own study of twenty Higher Tier papers.

Are these official exam board books?

No. These books are written and published independently by me, and they are not produced, approved or endorsed by Pearson or Edexcel. Every question and solution in them is original.

Can I print the books?

Yes, you can print your own copy for your own study. Your name is printed on every page, so please do not share the file, the printout or your download link with anyone else.

I am a teacher or tutor. Can I use them with my class?

Yes, and I would love that. Each copy is licensed to one person, so please write to me at class@mathwithchukz.com and I will set up a group licence for your class.

I paid but I have not received my email.

The email usually arrives within a few minutes, so please check your spam or promotions folder first. If it is still not there after fifteen minutes, write to me at class@mathwithchukz.com with the email address you paid with, and I will send your link myself.
